At Digital Mongers, we value our clients and strive to deliver high-quality web and app development services. However, due to the nature of custom development work, we have established the following Cancellation and Refund Policy to maintain transparency and fairness for both parties.
1. Project Cancellation by the Client
Clients may request a project cancellation at any stage by providing a written request via email to support@digitalmongers.com
Refunds will be handled based on the stage of project execution:
- Before Project Initiation:
If a project is canceled before any work has begun and no resources have been allocated, a full refund of any advance payment will be issued (after deducting any applicable administrative or transaction charges). - During Initial Planning or Design Phase (Before Development Begins):
If canceled during the early design or planning stages, a partial refund may be granted. We will deduct charges for time spent on project discussion, requirement gathering, research, wireframing, or initial design work. - After Development Has Started:
No refund will be issued for any work already completed. The refund amount will be calculated based on:- Tasks already completed
- Resource allocation
- Man-hours spent
- Any third-party or licensing costs incurred
- Near or Post-Completion:
Once the project is nearing completion or has been delivered, no refund will be entertained.
2. Project Cancellation by Digital Mongers
We reserve the right to cancel any project under circumstances such as:
- Unresponsive or non-cooperative clients
- Breach of agreement or terms
- Abusive behavior or threats
In such cases, clients will be invoiced for the work completed up to the cancellation date, and any remaining balance will be refunded (if applicable).
3. Monthly Retainer & Ongoing Maintenance Plans
- Services offered under monthly maintenance, SEO, or digital support retainers are non-refundable once the billing cycle starts.
- Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days before the next billing cycle.
4. Digital Products / Licensing
If the project includes digital licenses (e.g., themes, plugins, APIs), those costs are non-refundable, even in case of project cancellation.
5. Payment Disputes
If you believe you’ve been billed incorrectly, please contact us within 7 business days of the billing date. We will investigate and correct any genuine errors.
Chargebacks without prior communication are considered a violation of this policy and may result in legal action or service suspension.
6. Refund Processing Time
If eligible, refunds will be processed within 10-15 business days from the approval date. The refund will be made to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
7. No Refund Policy Applies To:
- Delays caused by client-side approvals or communication gaps
- Change in business direction or requirements after project start
- Work delivered as per scope with client dissatisfaction due to subjective preferences
- Failure to provide required assets/content in time by the client
8. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to revise this policy at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
